Guess there is no hope of that though so I think I’ll just
keep an eye on the cat in the yard. Wish I could open the slider!

Naa. Boring. Guess I’ll watch a little tv. Silly humans.

Animal Rescue

My best friend helps animals that are found and need to be cared for until they are able to be released to the wild again. This little guy was one of those I met last year. Unbelievable face. Check them out.

racoon3 These little guys were healed and released to a safe place.

As cute as they are, I want to give my friend accolades, as she takes animals in, feeds them (pays for the feed), and ultimately releases them to freedom. She takes in stray animals, and someone even left three kittens on her porch. Of course she took them in and cared for them and found two homes. The other she kept.

I’ve lost track of the number of cats and dogs she has, but one thing I do keep track of is her willingness to love and support creatures of this planet. Accolades to you Jennifer! It would be lovely if more people had your love and dedication.

The Gentle Giant

October 6, 2009

This two year old, 160 pound dog came, with his master, to my garage sale. He sat in the truck and waited and I simply couldn’t resist snapping his photo. He is shy (particularly with men). I don’t mean to be mean or bad, but I swear, the owner smiled and had some irregular teeth – and the dog had the exact same thing!big dog

……now sits on the sidewalk with his guitar, and plays the blues. It is a disgrace our veterans do not get all the help they need! I asked Bill if I could take his photo, and this day he was lucid. It’s not always that way. In the eight years I’ve seen him on the street, more often than not he is babbling loudly with no particular content of thought.
